THE FUTURE TENSE ON MTV RE:DEFINE INSPIRATION
Fast forward to 2014, and the chance to work with an institution like the Dallas Contemporary brings with it a whole new range of opportunities, challenges and pressures. A dramatic increase in the number of artists involved makes the thematic consistency achieved in previous years orders of magnitude more complex, and yet thanks to a combination of the groundwork done in previous years plus the decades of experience in the team, we are confident that both collectors and the public at large will be surprised, challenged and engaged by the artists and works on offer. We are very much looking forward to working with Peter Doroshenko and the rest of the Dallas Contemporary team, and of course Richard Phillips’ involvement in the music on the night will further help to cement RE:DEFINE as the most exciting event of its kind on the art calendar.
